St. Leonard students attend Mass with prayer partners

Third-grade students at St. Leonard School attended a Valentine’s Day Mass with their prayer partners Feb. 9 at the school. Prayer partners are senior citizens who are members of St. Leonard Church with whom the students meet at different times throughout the school year. Following Mass, the kids and the seniors attended a reception where they made crafts and played bingo.

All students at St. Leonard made Valentine’s Day cards Feb. 8 for the Cupid’s Kids program, which benefits Kosair Children’s Hospital. The program was sponsored by 102.3 The MAX FM radio and the cards were delivered to kids at Kosair during a live radio broadcast Feb. 12.
