Father David Sánchez, pastor of St. Joseph Church in Butchertown, led a procession along East Washington Street in celebration of the Lord of Miracles’ feast day Oct. 20. About 200 parishioners took part in the traditional Peruvian celebration where an image of Jesus Christ is venerated. The event was organized by a group of St. Joseph’s parishioners who are natives of Peru.
