St. Catharine College in Springfield, Ky., announced a new scholarship March 7 that will provide assistance to new full-time students who live at home and commute to the school.
The $500 FiveStar Scholarship is the result of a partnership between the college and FiveStar Convenience Stores.
Students may choose to apply the scholarship to tuition or redeem it for a gift card to the stores to help reduce the cost of commuting, a press release from St. Catharine said.
