St. Bernadette Church will host a retreat for men and teens

“A Father’s Love and the Prodigal Son,” a men’s retreat, will be held on Aug. 3 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Bernadette Church in Prospect, Ky.

Jeffrey Wright, a science educator at Male Traditional High School, will speak at the retreat. He will “show how God’s love and mercy can be found through new insights into basic scientific principles while revisiting a parable that celebrated a son who ‘was lost and is found,’ ” according to an announcement about the retreat.

The cost, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch, is $20 for adults. There is no charge for boys in grades 7-12.

Men interested in attending may register after weekend Masses at St. Bernadette Church or online at www.stb2008.org.

The event is sponsored by St. Bernadette Church, St. Mary Academy and the Knights of Columbus Bishop Flaget Council 13053.
