St. Barnabas Church will celebrate its 60th anniversary

St. Barnabas Church, which over the years has focused on community involvement and assistance, will celebrate its 60th anniversary with a “Diamond Jubilee Festival” on its campus Aug. 24.

The event will take place from 5 p.m. to midnight at the church, 3054 Hikes Lane, and will feature games, libations, children’s activities and food trucks.
Among the food trucks taking part in the festival will be:

  • Sweet & Savory
  • Holy Molé
  • Johnny’s Diner
  • Frenchindocanada
  • Lil’ Cheezers
  • The Homemade Pie and Ice Cream Kitchen.

The church, which was founded in 1953, now serves about 900 parish families and the Hikes Point community.
