St. Aloysius parishioner earns Girl Scout gold

Madalyn O’Dea, a member of St. Aloysius Church in Pewee Valley, Ky., has earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award given by the Girl Scouts of the USA.

Madalyn is a member of Troop 2240. For her Gold Award project, she created a “Healthy Feelings” coloring book aimed at helping children better understand and process complex emotions. The coloring books are distributed free of cost to hospitals, courthouses and counseling centers.
