St. Aloysius Church member creates rosary walk

RecordLogo-FMaggie Stephens, a 2017 graduate of South Oldham High School and member of St. Aloysius Church in Pewee Valley, Ky., created a rosary walk on the campus of St. Aloysius Church in Pewee Valley, Ky., as a project for her Girl Scout Gold Award — the highest award given to a Girl Scout.

The rosary walk was blessed Aug. 5 by St. Aloysius’ pastor Father John Stoltz and dedicated to Mother Mary. Following the dedication, a group of parishioners and Boy Scouts prayed the rosary.

The rosary walk is located in the wooded area behind St. Aloysius’ rectory and is open all day for those who wish to pray the rosary.
