Sister of Charity of Nazareth Helen McNulty dies

Sister of Charity of Nazareth Helen McNulty died at Nazareth Home on May 29. She was 95 and had been a Sister of Charity of Nazareth for 74 years.

Sister McNulty, a native of Boston, served for 35 years as a teacher, principal and secretary at schools in Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky and Massachusetts. She also served in health care and senior services in Massachusetts. She entered the apostolate of prayer at the Motherhouse in Nazareth, Ky., in November 2013.

She is survived by her nieces, nephews and her religious community.

The body will be received in St. Vincent Church on the Nazareth, Ky., campus at 4 p.m. June 5 and a prayer service will follow at 6:30 p.m.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated June 6 at 10:30 a.m. in the church, with burial in Nazareth Cemetery.
