Shoes for a Cause: St. James School donates nearly 500 pairs

Students in the Junior Beta Club at St. James School collected nearly 500 pairs of shoes for their school’s Catholic Schools Week service project.

They collected the shoes to benefit WaterStep, according to a press release from St. James. WaterStep, a Louisville-based organization, accepts monetary donations in addition to pairs of new or gently used shoes, which are used to fund safe water projects in developing countries.
