Serving Others — Food for the Needy

missions-w

Members of two parishes in the Southern Kentucky Missions — St. Helen Church in Glasgow, Ky. and Our Lady of the Caves in Horse Cave, Ky. — distributed nearly 50 food and fruit baskets to needy families in the area during the holidays.

Members of the parishes sponsored the baskets and collected the contents, while members of Knights of Columbus Council 6368 — assisted by parishioners of St. Helen and Our Lady of the Caves — delivered them to area families.

The two parishes, along with Emmanuel Church in Albany, Ky., and Holy Cross Church in Burkesville, Ky., are served by the Fathers of Mercy based in Auburn, Ky.
