Seminar will address “Divorce: The Impact on Families and Children”

archloulogotext-w“Divorce: The Impact on Families and Children” will be presented by Holy Trinity Church’s Olive Branch Divorce Ministry on March 22 at Spalding University’s Egan Leadership Center, 901 S. Fourth Street. A social time will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m.

Dr. Loren Townsend and Dr. Leslie Smith Townsend will present the seminar. Loren Townsend is director of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and an ordained minister in the American Baptist Church (USA). Leslie Townsend is a pastoral counselor and a licensed marriage and family therapist.

Archdiocese of Louisville staff members will also be available to answer questions at the seminar — Dr. Pat Norris, associate director of the Metropolitan Tribunal, which addresses annulments, and Deacon Stephen Bowling, director of Family Ministries.

The event is free and open to the public; no advance registration is necessary.
