Salute to Catholic School Alumni fundraising dinner set for March 14

ceflogo-9-5-13-wThe Catholic Education Foundation’s 27th annual Salute to Catholic School Alumni dinner will be held at 6:30 p.m. on March 14 at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Cardinal Joseph Tobin, who was designated a cardinal by Pope Francis in 2016, will be the keynote speaker. And eight people whose lives highlight “excellence in Catholic schools in Central Kentucky” will be honored during the dinner, according to the foundation.

Organizers hope to raise a record $800,000, which will be used to provide tuition assistance for students attending Catholic schools and grants for religious education, professional development and technology in Catholic parishes and schools.

Tickets are $300 per person or $3,000 for a table 10. Sponsorships also are available. For tickets and more information, visit ceflou.org or call 585-2747.
