The Saint Meinrad Alumni Association is hosting the second annual Saint Meinrad Day of Service on March 14 in three cities — Evansville, Ind., Indianapolis and Louisville.
The day’s theme is the Latin Benedictine motto Ora et Labora, which is Pray and Work. Each site will incorporate some time for prayer, in addition to the day’s service project.
There is no cost to participate and each volunteer will receive a free T-shirt and lunch, courtesy of the alumni association. Participants do not have to be Saint Meinrad alumni to take part in the day of service.
