Sacred Heart wins swimming championship

Sacred Heart Academy’s swim team won the Kentucky High School Athletic Association’s state championship. The meet took place Feb. 24 at the University of Kentucky Lancaster Aquatic Center in Lexington. This is the Valkyries’ 12th consecutive KHSAA swimming championship, according to an announcement from the school.
