The Sacred Heart Academy Madrigals choir has been invited to take part in festivities to mark the presidential inauguration in Washington, D.C. The group will attend the inauguration and swearing in ceremony Jan. 20 in Washington, D.C.
The choir also will perform Jan. 18 at the Kentucky Bluegrass Ball, a presidential inaugural gala sponsored by the Kentucky Society of Washington.
On Jan. 19 the Madrigals will perform at the Inauguration Performance Festival and Competition at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. During their performances, the choir will sing a mix of contemporary songs related to peace.
