Sacred Heart Academy will host alumnae awards at annual event

Sacred Heart Academy will honor Alice Biedenbender Fisher, a graduate of the class of 1985, as Alumna of the Year at the school’s 28th annual Alumnae Awards Celebration Feb. 1. The dinner and awards ceremony will take place at the Mellwood Arts Center at 5:30 p.m.

The school’s Alumnae Association will also honor Blair Dahlem Ivins, Sarah Webber Hardy and Sister of the Holy Cross Angela Mary as Heart Award recipients.

Madonna Schueler, a 2004 graduate; Kristina Wetterer Phillips, a 2005 graduate; and Robert Tonini will be inducted into the Valkyrie Athletic Hall of Fame.

Ursuline Sister Janet Peterworth and Dr. Anna Jo Montana Paul will receive honorary diplomas. Sally Miller Gamble, a graduate of the class of 1970, will receive the Ursuline Teaching Legacy Award.

The celebration will include a reception, dinner, a cash bar and awards ceremony. Dinner tickets are $45 per person. Children age five to 12 are $15 and children four and younger are free. Reservations can be made online at shslou.org/alumnawards.
