Rosary rally held at Ursuline Motherhouse

Young women who play basketball for local Catholic high schools gathered on the evening of Jan. 24 at the Ursuline Motherhouse chapel to pray the rosary and hear about the role of their faith in sports and in life. The prayer service, called a Rosary Rally by the organizers, was sponsored by SportsLeader, a Louisville-based Catholic organization. Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz presided at the service. A similar Rosary Rally for boys was held before fall sports commenced in 2015.
