Parishes around the Archdiocese of Louisville received the archbishop’s permission to reopen to the public with precautions as of May 20 at limited capacity. Some churches began holding public Masses yesterday while others are taking steps to reopen gradually — surveying parishioners, training staff and volunteers on safety precautions, preparing their spaces for social distancing and taking other preliminary steps.
