Programs about the Catholic Worker movement planned March 16 and 17

The Casa Latina Catholic Worker and St. Agnes Church will sponsor two programs about the Catholic Worker movement in mid-March.

“Haunted by God: The Life of Dorothy Day” will be presented on March 16 at 6:30 p.m.  According to an announcement about the event, the production by Stillpoint Theater of Chicago, Ill., “incorporates all the wit and prophetic grit of Dorothy’s own words about war, peace, American society, compassion and protest in the Spirit of Jesus.”

On March 17 at 1 p.m., Lisa Wagner-Carrollo, founder and actor of Still Point Theater, will facilitate “Identifying and Living Catholic Worker Values Today.”

Both events will be held in Aloysius Hall at St. Agnes Church, 1920 Newburg Road. Refreshments will be served. Suggested donation is $10, but any donation will be accepted. RSVP to St. Agnes parish office at 451-2220.
