Panel discussion at the library will explore immigration issues

Catholic Charities’ newly launched Be Golden campaign is highlighting the Louisville Free Public Library Fast Class “Immigration: Stories of Status,” which will be at the main library, 301 York St., on March 12 at 6:30 p.m.

Stephen George of Louisville Public Media will moderate story-telling and a panel discussion on immigration. Three people who emigrated to the United States will share their stories. And three attorneys will serve on the panel: Rebecca Sim of Catholic Charities of Louisville; Mark Martinez of Martinez Immigration Law PLLC  and Barbara Menefee of Dinsmore & Shohl.

Be Golden aims to remind people in the archdiocese to live by the Golden Rule and welcome immigrants and refugees.
