Program planned for the six Saturdays of Lent at St. Raphael

St. Raphael Church, at Bardstown Road and Lancashire Avenue, will offer a speaker series blended with prayer on the six Saturdays of Lent beginning Feb. 17.

The program, which runs from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. each Saturday in the church, will include adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, a speaker, the rosary, Benediction and coffee and doughnuts. The speakers are:

Feb. 17 — Lifelong parishioner Bee Raque McCormick.

Feb. 24 — Xaverian Brother Cornie Hubbuch.

March 3 — Leah Trout of the Little Way Pregnancy Resource Center.

March 10 — Mary Lang, president of Assumption High School.

March 17 — Steve Tompkins, director of sports ministry for Trinity High School.

March 24 — Joe Bergamini, a St. Xavier High School coach and teacher.
