Claire Curtis, a sophomore at Presentation Academy, took first place in the community problem solving in the middle division of the 2016 Future Problem Solving International Conference, held at Michigan State University June 1 to 5.
Curtis’ community problem solving project, “Live, Laugh and Post It,” is a social media effort aimed at easing the transition from middle school to high school. She has competed at the international competition for four years in a row and this is her second first-place win.
