In celebration of Earth Day, April 22, students at Presentation Academy participated in a series of activities focusing on environmental stewardship.

“Leading up to Earth Day, students created posters highlighting the importance of protecting the Earth and caring for all who inhabit it. On Earth Day, students gathered in their theology classes to pray for the Earth and all its inhabitants,” according to a press release from the school.

“Following prayer, they participated in a walk downtown to share their message with the community. Finally, they created a display of posters at the corner of Fourth and Breckinridge streets, where they stood as a visible reminder of their commitment to caring for the planet, according to the school,” said the press release.

“Together, they provided a meaningful reminder that even small actions can make a difference,” noted Kaci Huff, Presentation’s media representative.
