Hundreds of people gathered outside the Planned Parenthood clinic at 1025 S. Second St. in Louisville on Aug. 22 to pray and ask the federal government to stop funding the organization. The Louisville rally was one of hundreds held across the country that day. The rallies were organized in response to allegations that Planned Parenthood sells fetal tissue. Planned Parenthood denies the allegations. The Louisville clinic provides a variety of services, including referrals for abortions. The Archdiocese of Louisville was one of the rally’s sponsors.
