Parish fish fry competition supports Catholic Charities program

St. Gabriel and Holy Trinity churches participated in a friendly competition to raise funds for Catholic Charities of Louisville’s Long-term Care Ombudsman Program.

Both parishes donated a portion of their proceeds from the March 2 fish fry at Holy Trinity and the March 16 fish fry at St. Gabriel. They collected a total of $2,798 — $1,245 at St. Gabriel and $1,553 at Holy Trinity.

The Long-term Care Ombudsman Program represents the rights of residents in long-term care facilities throughout Jefferson County and surrounding counties.
