Panel discussion on immigration set for Sept. 12 at St. Agnes Church

A panel discussion focused on the nation’s immigration policies and the role of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency will take place at 7 p.m. Sept 12 at St. Agnes Church’s parish center, 1800 Newburg Road.
Panelists will include Father Jim Flynn, a retired priest in the Archdiocese of Louisville and Enid Trucios-Haynes, a professor of immigration law at the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law. Father Flynn will speak about Catholic Social Teaching on immigration and refugees. Trucios-Haynes will present a recent history of immigration policies and the role of ICE.
