Our Lady of Peace dedicates new cafeteria renovation

Kosair Charities Children’s Peace Center at Our Lady of Peace, part of KentuckyOne Health, dedicated its newly renovated and children-friendly cafeteria last month.

The $130,000 project was funded in part by Kosair Charities. The charity granted $1 million to the Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s Foundation in 2011 to fund a variety of projects to help transform Our Lady of Peace into a more children-friendly facility.

The 3,743-square-foot cafeteria now features wood grain vinyl flooring and entirely new casework, including a steam table, salad bar, beverage and deli areas.
