Office of Multicultural Ministry will host annual Back to School Fair

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry will host its 8th Annual Community Back to School Fair in two different locations in the city on July 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This activity is a component of the Family Life Skills, Community Outreach and Academic Enrichment program which ministers to families regardless of race, religion or geographical location.

The event locations are the Catholic Enrichment Center, 3146 W. Broadway, and St. Bartholomew Church, 2042 Buechel Bank Road.

The goal of the fair is to assist youth with a successful start to the school year by providing them with pencils, sharpeners, ink pens, paper, notebooks, folders, calculators, markers, crayons, scissors, binders, glue, glue sticks, rulers, book bags and other school supplies, a news release from the Office of Multicultural Ministry said.
