New cohort for LIMEX will begin in February

Loyola Institute for Ministry Extension Program (LIMEX), offered by the Archdiocese of Louisville and Loyola University of New Orleans, is seeking adult students for a new learning cohort that is scheduled to commence coursework in February.

LIMEX is a ministry education program that can be completed locally and offers masters degrees, graduate certificates in theology and ministry or continuing education credentials.

A new program option, called LIM-FLEX, will also be available. This program allows new students to form a cohort study group which meets and works together on six courses towards a masters degree. Following the six courses students work individually online to complete the degree.

The extension courses are designed for a minimum of six students and class schedules are tailored to the schedules of adult students.
More information about the programs will be shared at several information sessions this fall from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The sessions will be held:

Oct. 14 — St. Gabriel Church, 5505 Bardstown Road, parish office conference room.
Oct. 26 — St. Agnes Church, 1920 Newburg Road, Aloysius Hall.
Nov. 18 — St. Peter the Apostle Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road, conference room.
Nov. 23 — St. Albert Church, 1395 Girard Drive, room A/Sacred Heart.
Nov. 24 — Our Mother of Sorrows Church cafeteria, 770 Eastern Parkway.
