The “living” Nativity scene at St. Barnabas Church Dec. 14 and 15 drew hundreds of visitors from across the Hikes Point community, and on the first night of the presentation, those visitors saw Baby Jesus portrayed by Adrianna Stubbins. The Blessed Virgin Mary was portrayed by Adrianna’s mother, Erin Stubbins, while Joseph was played by Ron Dichstedt. Also standing in the scene, at left, is Dominican Sister of Peace Connie Schoen. Penny McTighe, director of pastoral care services for St. Barnabas parish, said around 800 people visited the display on Dec. 14, and another 500 or so passed through the scene on Dec. 15.
