Nativity Academy to host free ‘Healthy Living Fair’ Jan. 12

School Choice Scholarships, a nonprofit organization that grants tuition scholarships to children from low income families in Louisville, will host a free “Healthy Living Fair” Jan. 12 at Nativity Academy at St. Boniface, 529 E. Liberty St.

The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon and will provide an opportunity for families to learn ways to make healthy choices. There will be information on cooking healthy meals, free health screenings, stop-smoking materials and other tips from the Louisville Medical Alliance. Food donated by Panera Bread also will be available.

Participants in the fair include Louisville Metro Public Health and Wellness, East Broadway Chiropractic and Rehabilitation, Mortenson Family Dentistry, Norton Healthcare, the Family Community Clinic, the Greater Louisville Medical Society and PIPDA Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living.
