Monte Cassino pilgrimages to be held in October at St. Meinrad Archabbey

St. Meinrad Archabbey’s pilgrimages to honor the Blessed Mother at the Monte Cassino Shrine will take place on Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 2 p.m. CT.

The pilgrimages begin with an opening hymn and a short sermon followed by a rosary procession. The service ends with the litany of the Blessed Virgin and a hymn.The newly restored chapel and grounds will be blessed at the first event.
