Mercy Academy to hold theater festival in mid-April

Mercy Academy is planning a theater festival in mid-April featuring a variety of performances:

  • April 16 and 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. — A series of 10-minute plays.
  • April 18 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. — Hansel and Gretel the Puppet Show and an improv show.
  • April 19 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. —  A performance of “Dorothy Meets Alice.”
  • April 20 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. — “Quilters” will be presented by members of the Mercy Thespian Society.
  • April 22 — “Dorothy Meets Alice” at 2 p.m. and “Quilters” at 6 p.m.
  • April 22 at 3:15 p.m. — “Paint and chat” with the characters of “Dorothy Meets Alice.”

Tickets are not required for the plays, but a donation of $5 to $10 is suggested. The cost of the “paint and chat” event is $20 per person and a reservation is required by contacting Amanda Simmons at asimmons@mercyjaguars.com.
