Mercy Academy sophomore receives athletic honor

Eleanor Beavin, a sophomore at Mercy Academy, was named 2018 Defensive Player of the Year by the Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association.

Beavin is the first to receive the newly created award, according to information from Mercy.
