Louisville Vocal Project to present concert at Holy Spirit Church

The Louisville Vocal Project, directed by S. Timothy Glasscock, will present a concert of sacred music at 7:30 p.m. May 10 at Holy Spirit Church, 3345 Lexington Road. Music for the seasons of Lent and Easter will be presented, including William Byrd’s “Miserere mei Deus,” Arcadelt’s “Agnus Dei,” as well as compositions by the Bellarmine University Music department’s own widely-published composer-in-residence, Richard Burchard.

This professional chamber group specializes in a cappella music from all style periods, but especially music from the Renaissance and newly-composed/commissioned works. The concert is one hour in length. Tickets will be available at the door and are $10 for adults and $5 for students.

The Louisville Vocal Project is a new addition to the Louisville choral music scene. For more information, call Phil Hines at 893-3982.
