Level I Spanish classes to be offered at the Maloney Center

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry will offer level I basic Spanish classes on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Maloney Center, 1200 South Shelby Street, beginning on March 2.

The class is designed for people who wish to communicate and become more involved with the Hispanic community in their parishes. The series of ten classes will help to prepare students to engage in basic conversational Spanish.

In order for the classes to be held, a minimum of five students must be enrolled. Maximum class size is 10. The cost of the course is $140, which includes a book and other materials. To register, call the Office of Multicultural Ministry at 636-0296. The deadline for registration is Feb. 24.
