‘Kindergarten Countdown’ events continue around town

kindergartencountdown-3.30.17-wKindergarten Countdown, a series of events for students entering kindergarten, will be hosted at various locations in Louisville.

Children entering kindergarten receive a free T-shirt, which serves as a ticket for the child and an adult.

On July 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. children are invited to visit the Louisville Zoo, 1100 Trevillian Way, for games and activities focusing on kindergarten readiness.

On July 15 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. children may attend a performance by StageOne Storytellers at the Main library, 301 York St.

On July 20 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. the Kentucky Science Center, 727 W. Main St., will host a playdate for children.

On July 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. children are invited to a family storytime at the Iroquois branch of the Louisville Free Public Library, 601 W. Woodlawn Avenue.
