Kindergarten Countdown event will take place around town

kindergartencountdown-3.30.17-wKindergarten Countdown, a series of events for students entering kindergarten, will be hosted at various locations in Louisville throughout the year.

Children entering kindergarten will receive a free T-shirt, which will serve as a ticket into events for the child and an accompanying adult.

The next events are:

April 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Speed Art Museum, 2035 S. Third St. where children will take part in a scavenger hunt.

April 1 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at the Commonwealth Theatre Center, 1123 Payne St., for Storytime Theatre: Anything But Aesop. The cost of additional tickets are $5.

April 1 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. a the Louisville Free Public Library Southwest Regional branch, 9725 Dixie Highway for Super-Silly Saturday featuring costumed children’s book characters and musical performances.

April 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Frazier History Museum, 829 W. Main St., for family day including crafts and live shows.
