John Paul II Academy to mark 10th anniversary

John Paul II Academy, a regional Catholic school sponsored by St. Pius X, St. Barnabas and St. Bartholomew churches, will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a Mass on Aug. 19 at 8:15 a.m.

Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz will concelebrate the liturgy. A reception will follow in the library.

In its first decade, John Paul II has educated more than 2,600 students, according to an announcement from the school. The academy plans to continue celebrating the anniversary throughout the year.
