‘How to Install a Monarch Way Station’ will be offered Nov. 8

Kentucky Interfaith Power and Light will host “How to Install a Monarch Way Station” from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Nov. 8 at Thomas Jefferson Unitarian Universalist Church, 4938 Brownsboro Road.

Attendees will learn why monarch way stations are an important part of the community and get technical advice regarding how to install one.  Speakers include Margaret Shea of Dropseed Nursery, Ward Wilson of Kentucky Waterways Alliance, and Fred Whittaker of St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Kentucky Interfaith Power and Light is a Kentucky-based 501(c)(3) organization that works with all faith traditions on issues of energy efficiency, conservation and renewable energy. Their goal is to mobilize a religious response to global warming.
