Healthcare workers invited to attend White Mass on Oct. 16

The annual White Mass will be celebrated on Oct. 16 at 5:30 p.m. by Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre at the Cathedral of the Assumption, 433 S. Fifth St.

All healthcare professionals of any faith are invited to attend the liturgy, which will invoke the blessing of St. Luke, the patron saint of physicians, according to an announcement from the cathedral.

Healthcare professionals are invited to wear their uniforms to the Mass. It will be live-streamed on the cathedral’s YouTube channel.
