Father Leo Patalinghug, a national speaker and creator of the international movement “Grace Before Meals,” will present “Spicing Up Married Life” at St. James School in Elizabethtown, Ky., at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 16 and 17. Father Patalinghug will prepare one of his original recipes during his presentation which will focus on “satisfying a couple’s hunger for true love and explains how marriage is a sacrament, a sign of grace with which God blesses couples for lifelong commitment of love,” according to a press release from the school.

Fr. Martin Linebach, pastor of St. James Church, said in the statement that “We’re thrilled to welcome Fr. Leo. His passion is families and the fundamental concept of his organization Grace Before Meals promotes the idea that the simple act of creating and sharing a meal strengthens all relationships. Strenghtening our families is a primary goal at St. James and this event will allow us to offer married couples ideas to reinforce their marriage as well as how to incorporate the Catholic faith into their full family life.”

The event is open to parishioners throughout the Archdiocese of Louisville. Tickets, which can be purchased online at www.stjames-etown.org, are $25 per person or $50 for couples. For more information call 270-765-6268.
