Father Pepper Elliott prayed for the souls of those who have died during a Mass Nov. 2 to commemorate the solemnity of All Souls at Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Road. Close to 200 people, below, attended the liturgy, which was celebrated under a tent in the priest’s section of the cemetery.
Below, Father Patrick Dolan stood in front of an “altar of remembrance” as he spoke during a dinner hosted by St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Fairdale, Ky. The dinner followed an All Soul’s Day prayer service the evening of Nov. 2. During the service children of the parish helped grieving families light candles in remembrance of their loved ones who 
had died.
