Earth and Spirit Center has new executive director

The Passionist Earth and Spirit Center has hired Kyle Kramer as its new executive director. He succeeds Passionist Father Joseph Mitchell, who founded the center in 2005.

Father Mitchell will continue to be active in the center’s work and will now have more time to devote to teaching and developing curriculum, Kramer said.

Kramer’s work will focus on administrative aspects of operating the center. He said he also hopes to expand the center’s outreach, partnerships and programming.

“Over these last years, the center has increased its number of programs and participants, and we’re entering ‘phase two’ of its growth and maturity as an organization,” Kramer said.

Prior to working at the Earth and Spirit Center, Kramer worked as a farmer and served as the director of the graduate lay ministry formation programs at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in Southern Indiana.
