      Hi Linda,
I received a note from Sister Jeanne Conrad. See below.

I am Sr. Jeanne Conrad, the archivist for the Dominican Sisters of Peace. As you probably are aware, we are made up of 8 congregations that formed a union in 2009. Therefore, we are still learning about the histories of each congregation. What would be most helpful in researching this Sister would be to know the year(s) that she was at Holy Angels in Omaha.
I am presuming that she was a member of the St. Catharine community. In looking in their history, I found a Sr. Mary Celestine who was professed on March 7, 1917. In those days most Sisters were about 19 years old when they made their profession which would seem to indicate that she is not the Sr. Celestine they are talking about.
I have sent your inquiry to the St. Catharine archivist and will let you know if she has any additional information.

      Sr. Jeanne
