Dominican Sister Caroline Miller dies at age 97

Dominican Sister of Peace Caroline Miller, 97, a native of Omaha, Neb., died Oct. 3 at the Sansbury Care Center in St. Catharine, Ky. She had been a religious for 77 years.

Sister Miller was for 55 years a teacher and principal in schools throughout Nebraska, and was also a teacher and principal at schools in Ohio and Illinois.

She moved to the St. Catharine Motherhouse in Kentucky in 1991 and in 2006 moved to the Sansbury Care Center.

Survivors include several cousins.

The Mass of Christian Burial was held Oct. 9 at the Sansbury Care Center Chapel. Burial was in the St. Catharine Motherhouse Cemetery.
