Dominican Sister Carol Davis celebrates golden jubilee

Dominican Sister of Peace Carol Davis is celebrating her 50th jubilee this year.

Sister Davis, a native of Philadelphia, Penn., has ministered in Kentucky, New York, Florida, Alabama, Virginia and New Mexico.

Sister Davis serves her congregation as a councilor on the leadership team. She’s also a leader at the Sansbury Care Center, a skilled and personal care facility serving religious and lay women in rural Springfield, Ky.

She has worked with survivors of human trafficking and served on the board of the U.S. Catholic Sisters Against Human Trafficking.

Sister Davis has also ministered to survivors of sexual abuse and trauma.
