DeSales to dedicate new athletic facility

DeSalesLogoDeSales High School will host a ground-breaking ceremony Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. on a new, multi-sport athletic facility.

The new athletic facility is one part of the school’s campaign “The Time is Now: A Strategic Initiative for DeSales.”

Other components of the campaign will focus on increasing tuition assistance for families and the renovation of the school building.

Douglas L. Strothman, president of DeSales; Jess T. Metzmeier, chairman of the board of directors for DeSales; Scott W. Kaufman, DeSales senior and student council president; and Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz will give remarks at the ceremony.
