Day of ‘Rest, Reflection’ set for Sept. 29

The Sisters of St. Benedict in Ferdinand, Ind., are offering “A Day Apart: Rest and Reflection” to be held Sept. 29 at the Kordes Center on the grounds of Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand.

The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there is no cost to attend. A free-will offering will be appreciated.

Lunch also will be available for $9.10. Participants may also bring their own lunches.

The Spirituality Center staff of the Sisters of St. Benedict will host the retreat, which is intended to provide quiet time for relaxation and personal reflection. Guests will be invited to stroll on the monastery grounds, walk a labyrinth and visit the chapel.
