Clothing, volunteers sought for St. Vincent de Paul’s Santa Shop

RecordLogo-FThe Society of St. Vincent de Paul will hold its annual Santa Shop on Dec. 11 at its Family Success Center, 1029 South Preston St.

Parents in need will be able to select Christmas presents for their children during the event. Last year’s Santa Shop provided toys and other gifts for about 580 impoverished families, including about 1,000 children.

Toys for Tots will supply toys for this year’s event. Those who would like to contribute to the Christmas-gift give away, are invited to donate new clothing for boys and girls from infants to teenagers.

Donations for the Santa Shop may be dropped off at the charity at 1015-C South Preston St. by Dec. 2. To volunteer during the Santa Shop, visit https://signup.com/go/3NbbSk.
